Your drawing stays with you.

Backstitch processes drawings and builds charts on your device. The application does not upload your drawing, reference image, chart or project file to a server. There is no visitor account or application database.

Saved on this browser

When available, local browser storage keeps your current project under the key ournichehub.backstitch.v1. This includes the chart, its settings and the reference drawing or image. It lets you return to your last chart. You can remove it through your browser’s site-data settings. Clearing site data also removes that saved chart.

A downloaded editable project contains its reference image or drawing. Check the contents before sharing that file. SVG and PNG chart exports omit the reference.

Hosting and ordinary requests

Cloudflare hosts this website. Loading a page sends ordinary connection information to the host, including your IP address, requested address, time and browser headers. Cloudflare may process request or security information to deliver and protect the website. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its practices. “Files stay on your device” refers to your drawing contents, not to the absence of web-hosting requests.

No advertising or analytics scripts

This release includes no advertising, third-party analytics, tracking pixels or external font services. The application does not set tracking cookies. If those services are added later, this notice and any required choices will be updated.
